Located in the heart of downtown Memphis, Beale Street features two blocks of more than 30 nightclubs, restaurants and retail shops.
The National Civil Rights Museum depicts the 1968 sanitation workers’ strike in a display. The museum is at the site of the Lorraine Hotel, where Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated.
