Westminster Presbyterian Church windows — Amy Green, accountant at TRS
“When I was a kid, I LOVED being in there in the late afternoon. The windows on the west side are positioned so that as the sun sets, it shines directly through the huge stained-glass windows, and the color it produces is spectacular.”
Sangamon River — Carole Briggs, criminal intelligence analyst, Illinois State Police
“View from above: The Sangamon River smoothly winds its way around the cliffs from the west, ventures east under the bridge and again disappears around yet another bend. The rock formations of the cliffs to the west are unique and historical in this part of Sangamon County. Every time I drive over the river, I look to the east or the west and imagine myself floating down the river in a kayak. The Sangamon River reminds me of a much greater giant, the Colorado River in the Grand Canyon.”
