Corner Pub Bloody Mary

Drinking establishments ramp up the creativity as they aim to keep customers happy and sipping. The Corner Pub, 3271 W. Iles Ave., is no exception. We like their style because they make their own pepper-infused vodka. Vodka is poured over seven peppers, including jalapeños, bell, green and habanero peppers to get that extra bit of kick. In addition, it looks pretty in that big vessel of vodka behind the bar. If you can't wait until your vodka at home is infused - or it's a little too much effort to figure out exactly how to do that - try a spicy drink at the Pub.

How to make it

  • Put a handful of ice in a pint glass that has a salted rim. (Come on, you can go the extra mile and salt the rim.) Wet the rim and press into a saucer of salt.
  • 2 oz pepper infused vodka
  • 4 oz Zing Zang Bloody Mary mix
  •  Dash of salt and pepper. Mix with a pickle and leave it in the glass. Garnish with lime.
